Polygon is a protocol and a framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks.
It is an easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development.
It is formerly known as Matic Network, and you might see this version of Polygon pop up in some places.
At Fragsy we use Polygon because we believe it combines the best of Ethereum and sovereign blockchains into a full-fledged multi-chain system with super low transaction costs and carbon neutral.
- It is able to fully benefit from Ethereum’s network effects
- It is inherently more secure
- It is more open and powerful

Using https://polygon-rpc.com is most recommended as it aggregates multiple RPC URLs! See below for more information.
